Wireless Infrastructure

Regardless of deployment combination, VR headsets connect wirelessly to a dedicated access point. The AP operates on 6 GHz (WiFi 6E/7) for interference-free, low-latency streaming. The HYDRA Neck handles this connectivity layer.

Key Requirements

The access point must be mounted centered above the play area at 3–4 meters height with clear line of sight to all play positions
No metallic obstructions above head height between the AP and headset positions
Backhaul cable from the AP to the network gear must be CAT6a shielded (S/FTP)
Power is delivered via PoE+. No separate power outlet needed at the AP mount point
